Heat Exchanger Testing

The heat exchanger plays a pivotal role in both the cooling and heating of oils and coolants within transportation applications.

With a drive towards greater efficiency, thermal management systems are being optimized. Oil coolers, air-to-air and air-to-liquid intercoolers are all heat exchangers employed in these systems.

In EV applications, increasing power and charging rates require effective temperature control of the batteries, motors and inverters. Thus, these heat exchangers must be held to a higher standard and tested to maximize performance and durability.
